Past project success in Mexico . . .

Our success in Mexico is noted in many ways.
Over the years, our projects in Mexico have resulted in many life altering experiences for the participants and the countless lives we served. Our participants studied Spanish in the Colegio de Cuauhnahuac in Cuernavaca, Morelos, Mexico, and volunteered in one of our many service projects. We completed many service projects with orphans, abused children, the community and the elderly. Our most recent program led us to successfully service and provide nutrition to infants and children with cleft pallets. Without this feeding program the children would not be able to have the much needed surgery and subsequent care they need.
LWBI established relationships with families in Cuernavaca who opened their homes and provided a home away from home experience for our participants. The home stay provided to our participants has been an invaluable experience. Living with families in Mexico helped each individual solidify a much deeper understanding of the Mexican culture. Additionally, the first hand experience that Mexicans are able to have of American culture has lead to lifelong friendships.
The success of our programs in Mexico is due in part to our ability to offer participants a well rounded experience abroad. Our participants get the academic, social, cultural, and service experience while having the time of their life in Mexico.
Life Altering Experiences . . . Here’s what some of our participants are saying.
“I was completely satisfied with the entire trip. I'm so glad that I had this opportunity and I can't wait to go to Mexico again. The culture, the people, the food, the lifestyle, everything about Mexico is amazing and I miss it so much. Thank you thank you thank you thank you for creating this program, it was amazing.”
“My experience in Mexico... hmm...well it's the best experience I've ever had!”
“Overall I thought my experience in Mexico was so fun. I loved the school, town, and family I stayed with. I felt I learned a lot about the Mexican culture and would love to go back to school next summer.”
“Mexico was an eye-opening experience, and I learned so much about the language and country, as well as gained a new respect for the people. I also grew close to the people in our trip, who became like my brothers and sisters. It was one of the best times of my life.”
