• As a Principal in the Lawrence Public Schools and the Senior Pastor of the Lawrence Evangelical Church in Lawrence, Dr. Smith is direct observant to the great need for the establishment of additional support for ESL offerings to non English speakers within the Lawrence community.  Lawrence, an immigrant city, has not only a large non English speaking population but also one of the largest unemployment rates at over 17% of its population. Be it through one on one dialogue with parents in the schools, in the community, or in the church, LWBI see a tremendous need for servicing the English needs of local the community.

 

LWBI seeks your assistance in the procurement of resources to physically and financially support the funding of English Language classes.
